I Will Give You Success
You are going through trials; at some point in your past, in the future, or probably right now. You may be wanting to tear your hair out and scream at the top our mountains, or you may be like me and want to climb into bed or under a rock to get away from it all. Trails have been placed on your shoulders that at times it feels like too much to bear.
But, if we have patience through our trials--easier said than done, I know--then we fill find success in whatever we are endeavoring to do. If it is studying for that test, infertility, job hunting, or problems with people--yes, four year olds count as people, you will be able to get through it.
God will always be with you if you ask for Him. The answer He gives most often I've found, though it isn't always the answer, is: be patient, it'll come. And it will. Father loves us. He loves you! He will help us through whatever trials cross our way. He loves you.

Stop Seeking Storms
President Gordon B. Hinckley, the 15th President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, pleaded with us to be more optimistic. In our world where everyone is backbiting, hating, fighting, and angry, we need to look for the brighter sides of every circumstance. Jesus Christ is that bright moment, sometimes that speck off in the distance. He will always be there to lift, strengthen, and lighten us when we seek Him, seek truth, seek love and kindness.
As the story Pollyanna reminds us, there are over 800 "happy texts" in the Bible. Why would God bother to tell us over 800 times to be happy if he didn't want us to be happy?
Choose to look on the brighter side of things. You might not be able to choose your circumstances but you can choose how you see an adversity (being a person, a place, an environment). I realize there are some who have anxiety, depression, and other ailments of the mind which make having hope almost impossible. But Christ can make the impossible, possible. He is the hope and light of the world. Even as the world is getting more and more wicked, angry, hateful, and violent, we can look with hope for the time Christ will come. Don't be scared. Have faith.
Put yourself around optimistic people and don't discredit them. Be optimistic and aware, so then you aren't blindsided by those who would mean to do you ill. But be happy in the knowledge that Jesus will come soon. It will happen before most expect and are ready for while for those who are looking, seeking, praying for it, it won't come fast enough.

Job 1: 21
Job went through many tragic things in close succession. Even though he didn't see all of Father's plan while they were happening, he had faith and a love of God to keep pressing forward and looking with hope. Because of his diligence and fear/respect of God he was able to receive, in time, what he had and more.
If we are diligent and have faith in Father's unseen plan for us--whatever it is, whatever will happen, whatever good and bad that is ahead of us--we will be blessed.
Have faith. Have hope. Keep pressing forward.
The modern Prophets who live today help us know of the plan and what we need to do.
Choose to Believe.

Executive Family Counsels
"Executive family counsels...involve only the parents. During this time together, parents and review each child's physical, emotional, and spiritual needs and his or her progress.
The executive family counsel is also a good time for wives and husbands to talk to about their personal relationships with each other. ... Elder Harold B. Lee...said, 'Never retire without kneeling together, holding hands, and saying your prayers. Such prayers invite Heavenly Father to counsel us by the power of the Spirit.' "

They Don't Give Up
I was reading a talk in the April 1971 General Conference by President Harold B. Lee. It's entitled Today's Young People; it is a great talk and everyone should read it. But the part that I want to focus on for a moment is his quote of Brother Marvin J. Ashton which reads, "No home is a failure until it gives up on that son, or that daughter, or that husband, or that wife. It must not give up, no matter how difficult the task to save one of ours."
Satan never lets up on us. There are constantly things that try us. He wants to get us down as far as he is. But Christ and Father will always be there to support us and help us up when we trip.
None of them will give up on us, so you shouldn't either. There is so much we can do to better ourselves; Father and Christ will always be there to help when we ask. They will always be willing to give us strength if you ask. I do all the time and They always give me strength to accomplish whatever I need do to or whatever trial I have to overcome. You can too.

I Am A Child Of God
Everyone needs to remember that we are all children of a loving Heavenly Father.
We all come from the same parents if you go back far enough.
We are all human. We are all human.
We all need to get along because we are family.
